Fermata Music Studios - Private Instruction available to the community!
As Fermata expands, so does our studio. Currently, the following instruments have openings for private instruction: piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, french horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium/baritone, tuba, percussion, and guitar.- The Fermata Studio is open to all ages, regardless of musical background.
- All lessons and rehearsals will take place inside the showroom studio.
- All lessons will be taught by accredited musicians with university-level peformance experience. Bios are available upon request. Our staff consists of only qualified, well-trained and educated individuals.
- Those interested in joining the Fermata Studio will sign up for lessons in groups of 8 (either half hour or one hour each). The lessons are scheduled between you and the instructor and availability of the studio room.
- Upon request, Fermata will issue a progress report for school age children. If desired, they will be sent to the parent and (if applicable) music director of his or her school.
- Lessons must be paid in advance. Eight half hour lessons will cost $120; eight one hour lessons will cost $220 (save $20). If a student misses a lesson without giving his/her instructor 24 hours notice, the lesson will not be rescheduled unless due to extranious circumstances. If 24 hours notice is given, lessons will be rescheduled. If the instructor needs to miss, the lesson will be rescheduled. Lessons can be paid in cash, check or credit card.
- There are no deadlines for private lessons; individuals may sign up at any time pending availability of instructor. More information about ensemble rehearsals will be available later.
